Ziegler Design Carpet
I chose this modern carpet for its high production quality and decorative appeal. Woven on a cotton foundation with fine wool. The dyes are organic, well blended and have managed to replicate the attraction of an antique Ziegler carpet. The all over palmette and leaf design is very nicely drawn with an elegant balance. Note that the pale blue field and ivory border is a very good decorative combination, while the accent colours such as the burnt orange, pale greens and golds, work well to create both harmony and character. It is also a really useful size. I can imagine this beautiful carpet working in many modern and traditional settings.
